The 71st Festival de Cannes

Russian news agency TASS and ROSKINO, an organization promoting Russia’s cinematography across the globe, invited Russian critics and key movie industry players to the TASS-ROSKINO press jury. The results of the poll will be updated daily. Professionals and journalists working in Cannes and movie buffs from Russia and around the world will be able to learn more about the most remarkable motion pictures lined up for Cannes selection.

The world’s most renowned film festival kicks off on May 8th with Everybody Knows starring Xavier Bardem and Penelope Cruz. This thriller along with 20 other films will compete for the Palme d’Or, the highest prize awarded at the Cannes Film Festival. New works by Jean-Luc Godard, Paweł Pawlikowski and Nuri Bilge Ceylan will also be screened.
The 71st Festival de Cannes will run from May 8th to May 19th.
